Newgate Estate is an up-and-coming residential community in Melbourne’s growing west. The master-planned community includes a wealth of enticing amenities for residents such as extensive local parks, sporting facilities, scenic wetlands and convenient access to local schools and shopping centres.
Completed in the early stages of estate construction, the opening of Trentbridge Road Park brings an inviting recreational space to the community. The project was constructed by Programmed Property Services, who commissioned Anston (then SVC Urban) for the supply of outdoor concrete furniture for the park.
Wide grassed spaces, an interactive playspace and outdoor exercise equipment provide free, accessible family entertainment. Scattered amongst the contemporary landscape are 16 show-stopping geometric concrete bollards, each its own piece of art. The charcoal concrete finish of the bollards is expressed once again in the concrete table and benches in the undercover entertaining area.
