Cladding

Anston's luxurious colours and finishes are available in thinner, lighter formats for use in vertical applications such as feature walls and façades.

Using Anston’s concrete cladding tiles, you can create a continuous, seamless finish from floor to wall in your preferred colour of choice.

The continuation of the beautifully textured concrete finish from horizontal to vertical planes provides continuity and connection, helping designers to forge a visual journey that takes the viewer through the space.

When designing intricately detailed landscapes, Anston’s vast range of beautiful pavers and associated products help to ensure our projects are delivered to the highest exacting standards.

Concrete Cladding: What You Need To Know

The term cladding refers to the application of a material over the exterior of a building or wall, providing a façade or ‘skin’ that conceals the internal structural elements. Depending on the material used, cladding may either be purely aesthetic or offer functional properties, for example if the cladding material provides a degree of thermal insulation and/or weather resistance.

Concrete provides thermal insulation as well as great performance and longevity in the outdoor environment. In a landscape application, concrete cladding is commonly selected more for its aesthetic value, though its thermal properties do render it a great option for installation around pools.

Anston’s concrete cladding products are available in 27 beautiful colours, offering designers a great opportunity to enhance their design via the inclusion of a feature wall, or to create a continuous stylistic element within their landscape design by using the same material and colour for paving and cladding. All Anston products are made to order, with production lead times dependent on certain factors such as order volume and pre-existing orders.

Our concrete cladding products typically require a minimum lead time of 4 weeks from order confirmation, though this may be shortened for very small orders.

To avoid disappointment and to ensure you obtain accurate lead times, please contact the Anston team directly with details of your specific requirements. Our team will do our best to fit within your project timeline.

Anston strongly discourages the use of our concrete cladding products in paving or flooring applications, particularly if the paved area will be subject to any foot or vehicular traffic.

Anston cladding products do not comply with the Breaking Load criteria specified in the Australian Standard (AS/NZS 4456:Masonry, Segmental Paving and Flags). Our cladding products are designed specifically for use in vertical, non-load-bearing applications, which is why they are crafted to be thinner and lighter than our standard paving products.

Anston will not bear any responsibility nor liability for product damage or failure that is caused as a result of cladding products wrongfully installed in paving or flooring applications.

Yes, it is possible for you to use standard Anston pavers (46mm thickness) in a cladding application if you are looking for a cladding size outside our standard range of cladding tiles.

If using paving product in a cladding application, it is important to use high-strength adhesive and the appropriate lifting equipment to ensure safe handling and installation.
