Warrandyte Residence

By Anston Architectural Products

Nestled in the leafy Victorian suburb of Warrandyte, a new residential pool, clad with textured architectural concrete, offers the idyllic atmosphere of a secluded private resort.

Concrete cladding and pool coping in the warm, sandy colour of Anston Dune was used to create a raised planter box structure that wraps around two edges of the pool, helping to bridge the levels of the sloping garden site. Smooth off-form concrete, illuminated from beneath and cantilevering slightly over the outdoor decking, completes the other two sides of the pool, presenting an inviting view of the pool from the home’s interior.

Architectural concrete provides excellent performance in pool areas, demonstrating a reliable combination of aesthetic appeal and practical functionality. The material’s excellent longevity and resistance to weather, water exposure and general wear and tear make it ideal for the harsh outdoor environment around pools, resisting moisture, UV rays, and temperature fluctuations.

Despite the challenges of the sloping natural site, the final outcome delivered by Saltwater Pools & Landscapes is a stunning result. The clean lines, textured surfaces and contemporary design creates a modern, stylish poolscape that is a show-stopping central point of the home and its rich, layered garden. Demonstrating a winning combination of top quality architectural materials and excellent craftsmanship, this inviting oasis is sure to provide decades of enjoyment to the homeowners.
