Significant restoration, extension and landscaping works have transformed a modest home into a striking contemporary residence, encapsulating a bold architectural style that is transposed from indoors to outdoors.
Drawing inspiration from the scene-stealing outdoor spiral staircase, the series of liveable outdoor spaces, designed by Mint Pool + Landscape Design, incorporates curves and lines to tie all elements together. The luxurious poolscape is built with elegant white concrete pavers juxtaposed with sleek, dark pool tiles in an eye-catching mosaic pattern; the rectangular pool edge suddenly curls out and around an outer corner, bringing attention to the raised circular spa.
More circular details can be found within the paved areas, spotlighting feature plants and shrubbery while simultaneously displaying the meticulous workmanship by building contractor Mil Construction. Paths of neatly organised circular concrete steppers are used in both the front and rear gardens, creating a sense of familiarity.
Post completion, the Yarraville residence has achieved various accolades, gaining well-deserved recognition for its enticing landscape design, high quality of construction and functional useability of its entertaining spaces.
