Wynnstay Park, Hartleigh Estate

By Hansen Partnership, Landscape Design & Planning

Hartleigh Estate is a new residential development in Melbourne’s southeast, with master planning, concept and landscape design by the award-winning Hansen Partnership.

At the heart of the estate sits Wynnstay Park, a communal reserve that encourages an active lifestyle and provides interactive play elements for children in its central playground. The design of the space aligns with Hansen’s pastoral-inspired theme for the entire estate. Warm, earthy materials and elements that reflect nature are implemented throughout the space.

Landscaping construction works were carried out by Super Gardens, who brought together all the softscaping and hardscaping elements. Anston coping units in Traditional Range Murray were used as a concrete capping element for the curved stone walls that wrap around the open playspace.

Hansen Partnership is a multidisciplinary planning and design practice. Their collaborative nature gives them an edge when working with clients throughout Australia and Asia, blending their expertise and knowledge across urban planning, urban design and landscape architecture to meet clients’ needs and aspirations.
