The Village Green at Strath Creek

By FFLA, Landscape Architecture & Urban Design Consultancy

Nestled in the undulating hills of Strath Creek, 100km north of Melbourne, the Village Green & Pavilion offers a spacious, beautifully decorated canvas for glamping, group accommodation, nature walks and destination weddings.

The area is laden with history, harking back to the pioneering days of Hovell and Hume who traipsed through the wooded, mountainous area in search of grazing land.

Surrounded by panoramic views of the hills, the landmark pavilion and sprawling grounds celebrate a thirty-year-old, immaculately maintained cricket ground at their centre, which continues to host various sports training programs, fitness camps and community activities.

Anston paving and dropdown step coping was used to give the Village Green a minor facelift, improving aged stairways and creating new connections at certain points within the landscape. These structured moments of tranquillity allow visitors to pause, becoming truly immersed in their breath-taking surrounds.

The subtle upgrades at the Village Green serve to modernise and enhance its classic beauty, future-proofing the property to welcome many more memorable events in the years to come.
