Rose Park Residence

By WAX Design, Landscape Architects & Designers

A low-maintenance backyard calls for a large paved area. How to make it more interesting than the average?  WAX Design show us how.

A circular feature window to the client’s extension was the design catalyst for this courtyard project in Rose Park, SA. Using our Granite Range Vega paver in a square format but laid in a brick pattern, and with circular features including a stylish black river pebble inlay to break up the large body of paving, the result speaks for itself.

The sparkling black flecks of our Granite Range tie in with the pebbles and the other charcoal features in this understated, yet sophisticated backyard.

“A feature sweep of inlayed pebbles links the dining area under the pergola to the paved seating alcove, and is echoed in the curved seating wall that accommodates the clients’ imported hotplate.”
