A private courtyard with fire pit provides the perfect spot to rest and relax. Paved in the cool tones of Anston Plain Grey, the concrete pavement continues in the adjacent poolscape, which is elevated a step higher to create a threshold between the spaces. Designed by Out From the Blue, the compact circular pool was constructed with small-format ceramic pool tiles and custom curved pool coping, with the rounded edges of the pool displaying the intricate details of the textured concrete finish.
Sightlines extend from the interior of the home out to the pool and courtyard, with openness and connection achieved from the full visibility provided by glass-panelled doors. Warm hardwood timber decking envelops and balances the cool tones of the paved courtyard, adding another layer of texture and colour to the welcoming space.
