In the sprawling south-eastern suburb of Berwick, a private residence has received a significant makeover, transforming its unassuming backyard into an outdoor entertainer’s delight.
Stepping outside the home, guests move into a spacious patio, with plenty of space to enjoy a relaxing break in the outdoors. An elegant, expansive poolscape rises up above the lawn, softened with a diverse plant palette at the fence boundary. The resulting view from the outdoor living area is aesthetically pleasing, reminiscent of a poolside resort holiday.
The newly built poolscape achieves its striking appearance thanks to the combination of luxury finishes and materials used in the build. The majority of the area is characterised by the brilliant white hues of Anston Vega concrete paving and pool coping, which is repeated in the steps leading down to the patio and the cladding used on the visible pool edge.
Surrounding the pool, the glass pool fence is subtle, minimal and doesn’t detract from the overall effect. The rich, warm tones of the timber screen fence perfectly complement the soft greens of the planter beds, crisp whites of the paving and vivid blues of the swimming pool tiles.
